I translate from German and Portuguese, and am currently also undertaking academic research (a creative/critical PhD) in the multi-media translation of literature and oral traditions from the Amazon region of Brazil.

As well as literary translation, my writing includes cultural journalism, book reports and reviews, and poetry.
